By August 13, 2025News

The 100 Club of Buffalo is deeply saddened by the passing of Eugene P. “Gene” Vukelic, a devoted supporter of our mission, a former member of our Board of Directors, and a tireless advocate for our region’s first responder community.

Gene’s life was defined by leadership, generosity, and service. As Chairman of Try-It Distributing, he built a thriving business while treating every employee like family. Beyond the boardroom, he dedicated decades to supporting law enforcement, firefighters, and organizations that strengthen and protect our community.

We are grateful for Gene’s steadfast commitment to the 100 Club of Buffalo and his enduring belief in those who serve. His legacy will continue to inspire us, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his beloved wife, Carole, his children, grandchildren, and the entire Vukelic family.

Rest in peace, Gene. Thank you for your service, your friendship, and your unwavering devotion to our community.
